Police seek man who accosted girl in Millersville

County police are looking for a man in his 20s suspected of exposing himself to a 15-year-old girl Friday afternoon and trying to get her to touch his genitals as she walked through woods in Millersville.

Police said the girl was in the 200 block of Nathan Court just before 3 p.m. when a man approached her from behind and asked whether she wanted to touch him.

When she turned around, she said, he was exposing himself. She swung her purse at him, police said.

The girl said the man grabbed her arms, but she struggled and broke free. She saw him running into the woods toward Elvaton Towne, police said.

The man was described as white, 6 feet tall, thin with short, dark brown hair and a goatee.

He was wearing a bright blue T-shirt, black jeans, black combat-style boots and sunglasses.

13 accused in Maryland City of soliciting prostitution

Thirteen people were arrested in Maryland City on Thursday on charges of solicitation for prostitution during a sting operation in which detectives posed as drug dealers and prostitutes, county police said.

Detectives conducted the operation at 7 p.m. at Whiskey Bottom Road near Route 198, police said. Of the 12 men and one woman arrested, two were also charged with drug violations, police said.

Two other men were charged with drug violations, police said.

Officers said they also seized three vehicles and $785.
