CATONSVILLE -- A 41-year-old man was killed yesterday when the trailer of a 23-foot motorboat he was working on in his driveway rolled on top of him, Baltimore County police said.

The victim, Michael Hickman, was declared dead at the scene in the 2100 block of Drummond Road, police said.

Hickman was working on the suspension of the trailer, with the boat on top of it, when the hydraulic jack slipped, authorities said.

A brother and sister hanging laundry in their mother's back yard were injured in a cascade of bricks yesterday when a wall of an adjacent, long-vacant, two-story rowhouse collapsed, relatives and fire officials said.

Lakisha Dinkins, 22, and Terrence Bonner, 25, were putting out the clothing when a rumble came from the boarded home in the 1400 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 7: 30 p.m., said their mother, Evone Bonner, 49. Bon Secours Hospital reported that the son was treated and released, and the daughter was in good condition.
