Restaurant cited for multiple violations

The Snug Harbor Inn, in the 1400 block of Snug Harbor Road in Shady Side, was the only food-service establishment cited for multiple infractions by Anne Arundel County health inspectors in inspections May 1-15.

The restaurant was cited May 12 for not holding food at its proper temperature and for serving adulterated or spoiled food.

H & J Amoco, in the 700 block of Route 3 in Gambrills, was cited on May 7 and 8 for not keeping food at the proper temperature.

The inspectors visited 97 food-service establishments in the two weeks and found seven others with critical food safety violations, all for not holding food at the proper temperature.

They were: Friendly Ice Cream, in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie; Lucky Luciano's, in the 2200 block of Defense Highway, Crofton; Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers in the 8300 block of Route 3 N., Millersville; Dunkin' Donuts in the 1400 block of Odenton Road, Odenton; Royal Farm store, in the 7800 block of Telegraph Road, Severn; the Happy Harbor Inn, in the 500 block of Deale Road, Deale; and Creative Catering, in the 100 block of Sherwood Forest Road, Crownsville.
