Brown won the 110 hurdles (14.07) and 300 intermediate hurdles (37.3) at the state Class 3A championships, setting meet records in both events. The junior also ran a leg on the 4 X 100 and 4 X 200 relays teams that finished second.

Leslie Harvey

Harvey won her first girls singles title at the state championships, defeating Broadneck's Jennifer Hellier in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.

Chris Smith

At the state Class 2A championships, Smith won the long jump with a meet-record 24 feet, 4 inches and placed first in the triple jump (46-8). The senior also finished third in the 100 dash.
