Quote: "[Cliff Floyd's] not going anywhere. Our payroll is only $10.95." -- Marlins manager Jim Leyland, after Floyd's remarks about the toll the recent trades have taken on the atmosphere in the clubhouse.

It's a fact: The Reds' Reggie Sanders, who missed a week after being hit on the left hand by a pitch, returned to the lineup and was hit on the left hip by a pitch from Orel Hershiser in his second at-bat.

Who's hot: The Giants' Hershiser allowed only four earned runs in 36 innings (1.00 ERA) while getting four victories and a no-decision in May.

Who's not: Left fielder Lenny Harris made the Reds' major-league-high 49th error. Cincinnati has committed an error in nine of its past 10 games.

On deck: Left-hander Eddie Priest, called up Saturday from Triple-A Indianapolis, will make his major-league debut for the Reds tomorrow. Priest had pitched a total of four games at the Triple-A level.
