Men's Division III final

Nazareth (N.Y.) (13-2) vs. Washington College (13-4)

Site: Rutgers Stadium, Piscataway, N.J.

Time: 1 p.m.

Outlook: Washington College is making its eighth appearance in the Division III championship game but is still seeking its first national title. The Shoremen are playing in their third straight Division III title game against Nazareth, losing both previous games in overtime to the Golden Flyers by scores of 11-10 and 15-14 at the University of Maryland's Byrd Stadium. Nazareth also owns a 9-5 regular-season win over Washington College this season on March 14 at Johns Hopkins. The Shoremen are on a five-game winning streak since losing to Salisbury State, 14-11, on April 18 in Salisbury. Nazareth has won four straight. Nazareth also has a 17-6 mark in NCAA tournament games, the best among active Division III schools. Washington College is 27-20 in the postseason. The Shoremen are led by senior attackmen Andy Lopatin (36 goals, 14 assists) and Michael Wilson (18 goals, 19 assists), and junior attackman John Fuller (32 goals). Nazareth is led by junior Dennis Foley (36 goals, 12 assists).
