Howard County police arrested a Columbia man yesterday morning in connection with a shooting complaint the night before, police said.

About 10 p.m. Wednesday, a man allegedly fired shots at three youths walking on Old Tucker Row near Beaverkill Road in Wilde Lake, said Sgt. Morris Carroll, a spokesman for Howard County police.

The youths reported the shooting and told police that a man had been "acting crazy" earlier that evening, Carroll said.

Police said they arrested Gregory Daniel Price, 18, at his home in the 5400 block of White Mane in Long Reach and charged him with first-degree assault, possession of a concealed weapon, reckless endangerment and second-degree assault.
