Honors: Coppin State senior 1B Cecil Christwell, and Towson junior SS Jason Rummel (Walkersville) and sophomore 2B Jason Sandner (Atholton), were named to the Division I GTE Academic All-District II baseball team. Johns Hopkins senior P Todd Flannery and junior OF-P John Christ were named to the Division III GTE District II Academic All-American team. Bowie State seniors Brandon Owens (first team) and Marlon Jones (honorable mention) were named to the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association All-Academic team.
