Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Burglary: Jewelry and cash, all valued at nearly $900, were stolen Saturday from a house in the first block of E. Barney St.

Burglary: A compact disc player and an electric grinder, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen last week from a house in the 600 block of Clement St. The burglary was reported Saturday.

Burglary: Three 35-foot aluminum ladders and several hand and power tools, all valued at nearly $600, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1800 block of Light St.

Burglary: More than $100 in cash and coins were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1400 block of Battery Ave.

Southwestern District

Arson: Someone set fire to the loading dock behind Westside Skills Center in the 4500 block of Edmondson Ave. about 4 p.m. Saturday. No injuries were reported.

Stolen car: A maroon two-door 1988 Toyota with tags ELR 281 was stolen Saturday in the 3700 block of Chesholm Road.

Robbery: Two men attacked a man in the 3600 block of Windsor Mill Road about 6 p.m. Saturday and robbed him of $180. The victim was struck in the head but declined treatment.

Robbery: A gunman took $4 from a Glen Burnie man in the 300 block of S. Smallwood St. about 5 p.m. Friday.

Robbery: A man was riding a bicycle in the 600 block of Brisbane Road on Saturday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $300. The victim was struck with the handgun and a shovel but refused medical treatment.

Eastern District

Theft: A man was arrested when he tried to leave the Super Pride supermarket in the 1600 block of Harford Ave. on Saturday without paying for 20 bars of soap valued at nearly $24.

Assault: A woman was arrested and charged with cutting another woman on the hands with a box cutter during an argument about money Saturday in the 2300 block of W. Lafayette Ave. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Theft: Four oversize tires and wheels, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen last week from a 1990 Ford Mustang parked in the 600 block of N. Kresson St. The theft was reported Saturday.

Parkville Precinct

Bank robbery/arrests: A man and his female accomplice were arrested and charged with robbing the NationsBank in the 9600 block of Harford Road about 11 a.m. Saturday. Police said two suspects gave two tellers hold-up notes and fled the bank after receiving cash, including a dye pack that exploded before the pair reached a getaway car. Witnesses jotted down the car's tags, and police arrested the suspects at an undisclosed location in Baltimore City a short time later. Charged with bank robbery are Keith James, 20, of the 3500 block of Rhom Road, Woodlawn, and Lynette James, 21, of the 3400 block of Belair Road, Baltimore City.

Garrison Precinct

VTC Murder try/arrest: A 20-year-old Randallstown woman was arrested and charged with the attempted murder of another woman in the 8400 block of Church Lane on Saturday. Held at the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson in lieu of $25,000 bond is Toyaire D. White of the first block of Windy Meadow Court. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was treated at a county hospital.

Stabbing/arrest: An Owings Mills woman was being held at the county detention center on $500,000 bond in the stabbing of her estranged husband during an argument in the suspect's home Friday afternoon. Charged with attempted murder and first-degree assault is Theresa K. Walowitz of the 3200 block of Patmor Road. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.
