Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: An AM-FM cassette radio valued at $300 was stolen from a 1991 Jeep Wrangler parked in the 100 block of W. Lee St. on Tuesday.

Southwestern District

Drug arrest: Officer Andre Pringle was in the 2100 block of Ashton St. on Tuesday when he saw a man on a bicycle selling what appeared to be crack cocaine. Pringle seized three small glass jars containing a white rock-like substance from the man and charged him with possession of suspected cocaine.

Burglary: Several pieces of jewelry, $3,200 in cash, a television and a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 5000 block of Clifton Ave. The loss was valued at $11,000.

Western District

Burglary: Windows valued at $3,000 were stolen from a house being renovated in the 300 block of N. Gilmor St. on May 8. The theft was reported Monday.

Eastern District

Rape: A 34-year-old woman was walking in the 1800 block of E. Biddle St. about 1: 30 a.m. Tuesday on her way home from work when a man pulled her into a vacant house, cut her with a knife and raped her. The woman escaped after cutting the man's right arm with the knife when he dropped it. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Theft: A woman was unloading the trunk of her car in the 1100 block of E. North Ave. on Tuesday when a man stole a carrying bag containing a Kel-Tec P-11 9 mm handgun with serial number 4838Z and valued at more than $300.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Six Walt Disney character figurines valued at more than $300 were stolen from a house in the 8100 block of Harford Road on Monday.

Garrison Precinct

Shooting: A resident of the 3800 block of Victoria Ave. was retrieving his trash cans about 3 a.m. Tuesday when he was shot in the right shoulder. He was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Burglary: A camera and a Johns Hopkins University security officer's uniform, all valued at nearly $1,400, were stolen from an apartment in the 3700 block of Twin Lakes Court on Tuesday.
