Show house at Rockfield

Experience the beauty of the AMC Decorator's Show House from Sunday through June 7 at the Rockfield Manor and Rockfield Gardens in Harford County. Tour the beautiful grounds and enjoy artisans, authors, storytellers and exhibits to benefit the AMC Cancer Research and the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology Division. The furnishings on display are for sale and more similar items are available in the Rockfield Garden Boutique, so take some of the Rockfield Manor home. Spend the day touring the site and enjoy lunch at the Taste of Bel Air Cafe.

The Rockfield Manor and Gardens are located at 501 Churchville Road in Bel Air. There is a preview party on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a house tour, cocktail hour, gourmet meal and music by Park Avenue Band. Party tickets are $75 per person. Zoo's Spring Safari

Lace up your hiking boots and head for the Baltimore Zoo to take a walk on the wild side Sunday at the 8th Annual Spring Safari. Participants will walk the 3.5-mile trail to raise money for the Family and Children's Services of Central Maryland. Walkers are welcomed to have a "roaring good time" at the end of the trail at the Party at the Pavilion, with complimentary refreshments, clowns, magic, a dunking booth, games and live entertainment by the Ravens Marching Band. Ravens football team members and radio personalities from Froggy 100.7 will also be there.

The Baltimore Zoo is in Druid Hill Park. Registration for the walk is from 9 a.m. to noon at the zoo's main entrance. The party is from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants must collect a minimum of $20 in pledges for adults and $7 for children ages 2-10 to be registered walkers.
