ELLICOTT CITY-ELKRIDGE: — Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Howard County.

Ellicott City: 8200 Main St.: Burglars entered an office building and pried open the doors to three office suites Thursday night or Friday morning. They stole computers, a television and videocassette recorder.

East Columbia:

Long Reach: 5100 block of W. Penfield Road: A burglar threw a brick through a sliding glass door and stole a purse about 5 a.m. Wednesday.

West Columbia:

Harper's Choice: 5500 Harpers Farm Road: Someone stole $3,000 in jewelry and cash from hiding places in a home Thursday. There were no signs of forced entry.

Western Howard

Lisbon: 16100 Old Frederick Road: Calvary Lutheran Church: A prowler pried open a door but fled about 7 a.m. Tuesday.
