Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Robbery: After answering a knock at his door about 11 p.m. Friday, a male resident of the 1200 block of Scott St. was robbed of about $400 by a gunman.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A 13-year-old boy was riding a bicycle in the 3800 block of Egerton Road about 5 p.m. Friday when two men knocked him to the pavement and stole the bike, valued at $260.

Western District

Burglary/arrest: Police entered a house in the 200 block of N. Monroe St. on Saturday to investigate a burglary and found a man who didn't live there, sitting in the living room watching TV. The man was charged with burglary.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 20-year-old man was in the 1500 block of E. Lanvale St. about 3 p.m. Friday when a man shot him in the chest, left leg and right foot with a large-caliber handgun. The victim was in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday.

Shooting: A teen sitting on a neighbor's porch in the 2200 block of Homewood Ave. about 10 p.m. Friday was shot in the left back by a gunman. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A man with a shotgun robbed the Exxon station in the 200 block of E. Joppa Road of more than $100 about 1 a.m. Saturday.

Robbery: A 60-year-old woman was in the 600 block of Murdock Road about midnight Saturday when a man knocked her to the pavement and robbed her of cash and property, all of unknown value. The assailant and a second man fled in a red Ford Contour.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: After a female resident of the 7300 block of Bay Front Road answered her door about 7: 20 p.m. Saturday to two men selling green beans, one of them shoved her into a nearby room and the other took her cash, credit cards and other items, all valued at $100.

Burglary/arrest: A 22-year-old woman was arrested Saturday after she entered an apartment in the 7400 block of Alvah Ave. and stole $22. She was charged with burglary, theft and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the 800 block of W. Padonia Road on Saturday and stole a 1994 white and tan Ford Explorer with tags 966698M. Police said the vehicle was probably taken by a man who had stolen the victim's purse, containing identification and keys, the day before.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A woman was knocked to the ground at Timber Grove Road and Shropshire Court about 9: 30 p.m. Saturday by two men who stole her purse, containing cash and property, all valued at more than $50.
