Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Western District

Youth shot: A 15-year-old boy was removing a 12-gauge shotgun from inside his pants leg in the kitchen of his home in the 2100 block of Ridgehill Ave. Monday when the gun discharged, sending pellets into his lower right leg. The youth was listed in serious condition yesterday at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police said the boy was measuring the difference between the shotgun's length and his right leg when the weapon went off.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man was talking to a woman on the front porch of his house in the 3000 block of W. Garrison Ave. about 12: 15 a.m. yesterday when a gunman approached and shot him. The man was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of $90 in the 4000 block of Dorchester Road about 2 a.m. Sunday when he got out of his 1995 Lexus after an accident. The accident occurred while he was being pursued by the men in a late-model BMW.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A man was talking on a pay phone in the 1200 block of E. 25th St. about 9 p.m. Monday when a gunman shot him several times. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Carpenter tools valued at more than $8,000 were stolen from a 1989 Ford Probe parked in the first block of E. Ostend St. Monday.

Burglary: Baseball cards, cash and a clock, all valued at more than $4,000, were stolen from a house in the 800 block of Washington Blvd. Monday by someone who entered through a rear door.

Eastern District

Robbery: A woman, 37, was standing at a bus stop in the 1900 block of Greenmount Ave. about 10 p.m. Monday when a man kicked her in the face and robbed her of cash and property, all valued at $70.

Robbery: A woman was taking pictures of youths trespassing on her property Monday when one of them snatched her camera, valued at $240, and walked away.

Burglary: Barbells weighing 400 pounds, computer equipment, a washing machine and stereo speakers were stolen Monday from a house in the 1600 block of Darley Ave.

Northern District

Robbery: A boy, 11, was in the 800 block of W. 33rd St. about 7: 30 p.m. Monday when a youth robbed him of his bike, valued at $400.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A cabbie was robbed of a cellular phone and his car keys Monday night by an unarmed male passenger he had picked up at Golden Ring Mall and driven to St. Regis and Marquette roads.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bike valued at $400 was stolen from a shed on Garnet Road Monday.
