A Lisbon man was arrested after, police say, he led them on a road chase late Tuesday after an altercation.
Police said witnesses reported that the man implied he had a handgun and threatened them in the 1500 block of Old Frederick Road in Lisbon about 11: 50 p.m. The man then drove away, police said.
A few minutes later, Officer Kelly Smith saw a car matching the description of the man's and chased it briefly -- until it crashed into a tree, police said.
The man ran, but police arrested him later. Charged with assault and several traffic offenses is Steven Lee Sales Jr., 19, of the 3700 block of Daisy Road.
