White Sox update

Chicago is locked in a three-way tie for second place in the AL Central, 4 1/2 games behind Cleveland after last night's 4-1 loss to the Indians. The White Sox have added Wil Cordero since the last time these teams met. He is hitting .286 (6-for-21) with a home run. Key and Eyre dueled April 14 at Camden Yards. Key limited the White Sox to one run and three hits over seven innings in the Orioles' 4-3 victory. Eyre went 6 1/3 , allowing two runs and three hits, and striking out seven. Chicago won the next two games of the series. Albert Belle hit his first home run on April 16 off Mike Mussina, who went on the disabled list the next day. He had hit in nine straight games before an 0-for-4 last night, going 12-for-32. Jeff Abbott homered twice in that game in his first start of the season.
