Angels update

The Angels rank among the AL pitching leaders with a 4.23 ERA, but are hitting only .250. Their eight errors are the second-fewest in the league. Tim Salmon has six homers. Gold Glove center fielder Jim Edmonds left Saturday's game with a sprained right wrist and is day-to-day. Darin Erstad had hit safely in the first 15 games before going 0-for-3 yesterday. Cecil Fielder has five hits in his past 47 at-bats after a 5-for-7 start. The Orioles get the honor of trying to cool off Finley, who leads the league in ERA and is tied for the lead in wins. Foes are hitting .188 against him. Hill is 0-0 with a 6.07 ERA lifetime against the Orioles. He gave up eight earned runs in 11 1/3 innings last year. Erickson is 13-2 lifetime against the Angels. Drabek faced the Angels once last year with Chicago, allowing two hits and one run in seven innings.
