Martin Luther King III to speak at UM tomorrow

Three days before the 30th anniversary of his father's assassination, Martin Luther King III will speak at the University of Maryland, College Park on "The Dream Deferred."

King, president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, will address the legacy of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the Colony Ballroom of Stamp Student Union.

He will spend the day on the College Park campus meeting with students, faculty and staff, and will be initiated into the UM chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa, a leadership honor society.
