Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Theft: Three sets of knives, all valued at $600, were stolen Wednesday from Cook's Table in the 700 block of Light St.

Western District

Robbery: A man was attacked by two men in the 1200 block of N. Bentalou St. about 11 p.m. Wednesday and robbed of cash and clothing, all valued at $600.

Robbery: A 17-year-old girl was in the 500 block of Wheeler Ave. about 6 p.m. Wednesday when a man robbed her of several pieces of jewelry valued at nearly $500.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Two gunmen robbed a man of his clothes, boots and underwear in the 4300 block of Pimlico Road about 9: 30 p.m. Wednesday.

Northern District

Shooting/arrest: A man was in the 600 block of Cator Ave. about 6 p.m. Wednesday when a man with a shotgun shot him in the right side, right back and right leg. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Near the shooting scene, police arrested a suspect and charged him with attempted murder, first-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon. Timothy Leonard Hughes, 30, of the 700 block of Cator Ave. was held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center pending a bail hearing.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Alameda Exxon station in the 5600 block of The Alameda of 15 packs of cigarettes about 11: 15 p.m. Wednesday. Before fleeing, the gunman fired a shot that shattered a bottle of window cleaner.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Tools and equipment valued at nearly $12,000 were stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday from a construction company storage trailer parked in the 10000 block of Red Run Blvd.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Pebbles Pub in the 7100 block of Security Blvd. of cash about 7: 15 p.m. Wednesday.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered General Concrete Pumping Services in the 3000 block of Hoffman Ave. Wednesday and stole less than $40 from a cash box.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Royal Farm store in the 500 block of Edmondson Ave. of $15 worth of cigarettes about 12: 05 a.m. yesterday.

Shooting suspect sought: A warrant has been issued charging Shelton McCain, 21, in the shooting and attempted murder of a man at Boone and E. 20th streets Feb. 28. McCain uses the alias of Donte Brown and frequents the area of Barclay and East 20th streets.

Burglary suspect sought: Baltimore County police have issued a warrant charging Eric Vernon Rice, 30, of the 5300 block of Fernpark Ave. in Baltimore City in the burglary of MBNA in the 11300 block of McCormick Road in Cockeysville and the theft of $81,000 worth of computers, furniture and telephones between April and June.
