Boat beat: For 18 hours, EF Language and Silk Cut have been neck and neck, with EF Language retakin the lead. Silk Cut skipper Lawrie Smith said, "Each boat is gaining or losing a little depending on which front sail is working best. Close behind are plenty of boats ready to jump at any mistake we make."

Weather: Little change for the next 12 hours as the northeast winds will continue at 20-25 knots.
