Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southeastern District

Rape: Police were seeking a hack -- an unlicensed taxi driver -- known as "Tony," who raped a 16-year-old girl in a house in the 300 block of N. High St. late Friday night.

Southern District

Burglary: Computer equipment, cash, a microwave oven and a cordless telephone, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1800 block of Lemmon St.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man was in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road about noon Saturday when he was robbed of $90 by a man who stabbed him in the arm with a knife. The victim was treated at Liberty Medical Center.

Eastern District

Stolen car: A four-door steel-blue 1994 Honda with tags BCH 046 was stolen in the 1400 block of E. North Ave. on Sunday.

Carjacking: A man was about to put gasoline into his 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo at an Amoco station in the 2300 block of Harford Road on Sunday when a gunman ordered him and a male passenger away from the car and drove off.

Southwestern District

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested after he entered a 1987 Ford truck parked Sunday in the 1900 block of Poplar Grove St. and stole a fiber-optic terminator kit, drill and a cellular telephone, all valued at more than $3,000.

Robbery: A woman was in the 4100 block of Potter St. about 6 p.m. Sunday when a man knocked her to the ground and robbed her of more than $200.

Western District

Theft: Police were seeking a woman known as "Candy" who stole three oil paintings and a ceramic sculpture, all valued at more than $2,000, from a house in the 3400 block of Auchentoroly Terrace.

Northern District

Burglary: A cordless telephone, gold jewelry, stereo equipment, 27-inch television, videocassette recorder and 40 compact discs were stolen between March 14 and Sunday from a house in the 300 block of E. University Parkway.

Towson Precinct

Arson: Someone set fire to a Ford Taurus parked on the Towson Ford lot in the 1000 block of York Road early Sunday, extensively damaging that car and damaging two other vehicles parked nearby. A damage estimate was not available.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Two handguns -- a Colt .45-caliber revolver with serial number 258364 and a Colt .38-caliber revolver with serial number 195754 -- were stolen Sunday from a house in the 11600 block of Kelley Ave. in Lutherville. The guns were valued at $600.

Slaying suspect arrested: Robert "Little Bobby" Jiggetts, 23, of the 2000 block of Robb St. was arrested yesterday in the 2900 block of McElderry St. by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. He was charged in a warrant with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Albert Lawson, 31, of the 3000 block of Chesterfield Ave. on Nov. 18, 1997, in the 400 block of E. Lanvale St. Jiggetts is being held without bail.
