Today: Wizards at Nets. New Jersey is a half-game ahead of Washington in the race for the Eastern Conference's final playoff spot.

No hits: Denver missed its last 14 shots of the third quarter during Friday's 104-88 loss in Minnesota. The Nuggets were 2-for-20 from the field and scored only eight points in the period.

Too good: Atlanta's Eldridge Recasner tried to miss the second of two free throws with the Hawks losing, 109-107, late in its game against New York. Recasner, a 98 percent shooter from the line, accidentally made the shot.
