Hampstead woman gets executive post at bank

Linda Anne Collins of Hampstead has been appointed assistant vice president at First Mariner Bank in Baltimore.

She joined the bank in November with more than 25 years experience in banking.

Her duties will include serving as manager of the bank's 28 automated teller machines.

Collins is active in the business community as well as being a member of the Carroll County chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.


Hampstead: Firefighters were called for a child locked in a car, with the motor running, in the 4800 block of Westfield Drive at 10: 15 a.m. Tuesday. Units were out 21 minutes.

Hampstead: Firefighters from Hampstead, Reese and Arcadia, Baltimore County, responded to a chimney fire in the 100 block of Winterberry Lane at 7: 08 p.m. Tuesday. Units were out two hours, 20 minutes.

Lineboro: Firefighters responded to a woods fire on Camp Woods Road, York County, Pa., at 8: 51 p.m. Tuesday. Units were out 50 minutes.
