Student of the Week

March 18, 1998

To show students that doing well can bring them recognition, the Citizens Advisory Committee of Quarterfield Elementary School has asked The Sun to help publicize its Student of the Week honor. Winners of the honor must write about themselves.

My name is Corey Lambert. I was born Nov. 6, 1987, and I am 10 years old. In my family I have one brother, a mom and a dad Patrice and Al Lambert). I am in the 5th grade. One of my hobbies is building models. I have truck models and some dinosaur models. I started when I was 4 years old. One of my favorite animals is the cheetah, because it can run up to 70 mph. I am good at soccer, baseball, football, basketball, tennis and Star Wars Cards. My favorite position in basketball is guard, because you get to pass the ball in, take the ball out, and shoot a lot. My future plan is to join the airforce to fly a fighter jet or be an electrician like my dad.
