Police arrest man, 20, sought in Jan. killing

A man sought in the fatal shooting of an Edgemere man in an East Baltimore alley in January is being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center, police said yesterday.

Homicide Detective Michael Hammel said Antwoin Jackson, 20, of the 600 block of N. Belnord Ave. was arrested by members of the city police fugitive task force about 9 a.m. Saturday after he entered a taxicab outside Deluxe Plaza Motel in the 6400 block of Pulaski Highway. Jackson had been sought on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder.

Hammel said Jackson was charged in the Jan. 31 shooting of Brandon Mullins, 19, of the first block of Loring Court in an alley behind the 1800 block of E. Federal St. Mullins died the next day at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
