Iran, died of skin cancer Feb. 27 in New York.
Mark Dexter Hollis,89, a public health official who warned of the dangers of air and water pollution nearly 50 years ago, died Feb. 24 in Lakeland, Fla.
William Workman,77, who helped create CBS-TV's venerable current events program "Face the Nation," died Thursday in Sarasota, Fla., after years of battling Parkinson's disease.
Darcy O'Brien,58, an author who won national awards and made the New York Times best-seller list, died Monday of a heart attack in Tulsa, Okla. Eleven of his works were published, beginning with "The Conscience of James Joyce" in 1968
