Mount women ousted in Northeast tourney

LORETTO, Pa. -- Sophomore forward Jess Zinobile scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to power host St. Francis (Pa.) past Mount St. Mary's, 73-56, in the semifinals of the Northeast Conference women's tournament last night.

The Red Flash (21-7) won its ninth straight and faces Wagner, a 54-50 winner over Central Connecticut, Saturday at 5 p.m.

The Mount (16-11) was led by Kia Williams with 21 points.
