Mount women advance, 67-43, in Northeast play

Junior forward Megan Gardiner scored a game-high 22 points, including the 1,000th of her career, to power Mount St. Mary's past St. Francis (N.Y.), 67-43, last night in the quarterfinals of the Northeast Conference tournament at St. Francis of Pennsylvania.

The Mount (15-12) will face St. Francis (Pa.) in tonight's semifinal at 7: 30 p.m.
