Carol Glover, a resident of Elkridge, has been named an

associate with the Baltimore-based law firm, Wright, Constable & Skeen L.L.P. She received her law degree from the University of Maryland Law School in 1993. Her area of concentration is civil litigation.

Del D. Karfonta has been promoted to senior vice president, retail banking, for The Columbia Bank, a full-service Columbia-based commercial bank. Karfonta will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the bank's network of 13 branch offices, as well as the management of retail marketing and promotion, branch openings and relocations and consumer lending.

John McDonough, president of Columbia-based Nantucket Island Homes, has accepted a position with Coscan Brookfield Homes as vice president in charge of developing the company's new custom home division, Keswick Homes. He will continue to consult on architectural and design issues for Nantucket Island Homes.
