1996 Falesco Vitiano ($10)

This Italian red table wine is one of the finest values on the market today, offering exceptional complexity and body for its price. It's a medium- to full-bodied wine with terrific length and ripeness, as well as glorious flavors of black cherry, winter mulling spices and smoked meat. It is a superbly executed blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and Italy's own sangiovese.
