Westminster: Firefighters from Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester assisted Westminster at 8: 13 p.m. Thursday, responding to smoke in an apartment in the first block of S. Church St. Units were out 21 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters responded at 3: 18 p.m. Thursday to an auto fire on Route 27 at Route 482. Units were out 21 minutes.

Police

Westminster: A resident of Poole Road told police Wednesday that someone stole his bicycle from a basement locker. The loss was estimated at $425.

Westminster: A resident of Hampstead Mexico Road told police that someone entered her home and stole a cash box and money between 6: 30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was estimated at $320.
