Maryland Realtors elect Evans as president

John G. Evans, a principal and president of sales with O'Conor, Piper & Flynn Realtors, has been elected 1998 president of the Maryland Association of Realtors, a trade association with 18,000 members.

Other new officers include Harold H. Huggins, Harold Huggins Realty, president-elect; Nancy R. Simpers, O'Conor, Piper & Flynn Realtors, treasurer; William J. Armstrong III, Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., secretary; John J. Harrison, Realty Executives Main Street USA, immediate past president; Alice M. Burch, Long & Foster, large firm representative; Adam D. Cockey, WHC Wilson Co., local board representative; Ronald F. Miscavich, RPM Realty, at-large representative; Allison Mooney, Long & Foster, district vice president representative.

District vice presidents are Gilbert D. Marsiglia Sr., Gilbert D. Marsiglia & Co., Baltimore; Phil J. Wineman, Realty Executive One, Montgomery County; P. Ann Pell, Ann Pell Real Estate, Prince George's County; Barbara K. McFarland, Goodfellow Agency, Cumberland County.

Also state district vice presidents are Ilene S. Kessler, Coldwell Banker Grempler, Howard County; Allison D. Mooney, Long & Foster, Southern Maryland; Richard McDaniel Jr., ERA/Tri State, Cecil County; Vernon Esham, Esham Real Estate, Coastal Maryland.

O'Conor, Piper & Flynn Realtors said sales associate Jeanne Wachter was top November producer in the Owings Mills office with five sales totaling $750,000 and five listings for $671,900.

O'Conor, Piper & Flynn Realtors said Sally Esterson and Moses Morris, sales associate in the Owings Mills office, earned the Certified Residential Specialist designation from the National Association of Realtors. Esterson and Morris are lifetime members of the Real Estate Million Dollar Association.

Builder's 1st Choice appointed Craig Greif vice president and partner of BFC Land, LLC. Greif joined Builder's 1st Choice in 1992.

Harkins Builders of Silver Spring promoted Dick Lombardo to executive vice president. With Harkins for 20 years, Lombardo previously was vice president of construction.
