Tonight: Knicks at Heat. Second-place New York will meet first-place Miami for the first time since the Heat's Game 7 victory in the second round of last season's Eastern Conference playoffs.

Coming on strong: Rex Chapman scored 13 of his 26 points in the third quarter and Danny Manning had nine of his 19 in the final period as the Phoenix Suns beat the Atlanta Hawks, 96-91, Monday night.

Turnaround: Cleveland ended a 10-game losing streak at Miami Arena with a 94-93 victory over the Heat.

Turnaround II: Boston recorded its first victory over New York since Jan. 10, 1993, with a 94-85 win. The 21-game losing streak was the Celtics' longest ever against a single opponent, while the 21 straight victories were the most by the Knicks against one team.

Not enough: Tim Hardaway scored 34 points and had eight assists in Miami's 94-93 loss to Cleveland.
