Ryan Homes has opened the second phase at Bowling Brook in North Laurel, where the company is building 110 three-level townhouses with gas heat.

Standard features include low E-gas tilt windows, oak handrails, six-panel interior doors, sprinkler system, and a smoke detector on each level.

The Fairfield is a 1,800-square-foot townhouse with a base price of $126,990. It can be built with a front kitchen, rear kitchen or large country kitchen. With an 11-foot-by-9-foot front kitchen, the first floor also would have a foyer, coat closet, storage area, powder room, 10-by-7-foot dining room and 19-by-11-foot rear living room.

Many buyers select a layout with a 13-by-18-foot front living room and 19-by-11-foot country kitchen at the rear.

In the three-bedroom version, the second floor has a 12-by-13-foot master bedroom with a walk-in closet.

The bath contains a soaking tub, linen closet and two vanities.

The lower level has a finished family room and laundry room.

A three-level morning room is a $22,000 option that expands the home by 640 square feet.
