January 23, 1998

A man who kept his hand in his jacket pocket, implying he had a gun, robbed a Hanover bank Tuesday, county police said.

A teller at Citizens National Bank in the 1300 block of Ashton Road told police that a man walked into the bank about 11 a.m. and handed her a note demanding money, police said.

She said the man ran out the door with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
