County police converged on two Laurel apartments Friday morning and arrested three men on drug charges after a brief investigation, police said.

Police charged Michael Jerome Nichols, 22, and Antonio Jerome Marshall, 20, of the 100 block of Charlotte Road, and Christopher B. Henley, 27, of the 200 block of Charlotte Road. The three were charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Their apartments are within several doors of each other in the Tall Oaks apartment complex.

Police said the three arrests were related but did not elaborate.

Police said they were tipped off by an informant. After an investigation, officers obtained a search warrant and conducted a raid just after 3: 30 a.m.

Police said they found a gram of cocaine, a scale, pipes and $4,642 in one apartment, and a small amount of marijuana, pipes BTC and $810 in another.

Police left two children living in one apartment with a woman who lives there.
