Today: See Your Point, winner of her past three races, including the Nellie Morse Handicap and Moonlight Jig Stakes, heads a field of seven older fillies and mares in the Maryland Racing Writers' Handicap. This will be the seventh running of the event.

The 6-year-old daughter of Rock Point, trained by Bill Sire, was top-weighted at 122 pounds for the 1 1/8 -mile test that carries $50,000 in added money.

Weather conditions could play a major role.

Weighted 2 pounds lighter is Double Stake, a victim of See Your Point in the Nellie Morse, but unbeaten in five attempts over an off track.

Tomorrow: New Jersey-based Adriatic Queen, runner-up in the Jersey Girl Stakes, heads a field of 3-year-old fillies in the $40,000 Belair Stakes.

Hazel's Honor, upset winner of the Kattegate's Pride Stakes here last month, is also among eight runners that passed the entry box for the 1 1/16-mile event.

Wilfredo Lozano Jr., aboard the filly in her upset victory, was named to handle her again.

Others entered are Above the Light; Gabe's Girl, a rank outsider who finished second in the Maryland Juvenile Filly championship, and Roses for Alyse, a last-time winner of a local allowance race.
