Towson reserve Grey dismissed from team

January 16, 1998|By Bill Free

Towson University reserve guard Omari Grey was dismissed from the basketball team yesterday by coach Mike Jaskulski for violating team rules.

Jaskulski said there were a "combination of little things that added up" against Grey, but the major infraction came on the morning of Jan. 7 when he missed the team bus to the airport for a two-game trip.

Grey, from Hampton, Va., had 15 points and four assists in 90 minutes. He has withdrawn from school, Jaskulski said.
