Gunman robs bank branch in Linthicum

A man armed with a handgun robbed a bank in Linthicum about 11 a.m. Friday, marking the county's third bank robbery this year, county police said.

The man went into the Signet Bank branch in the 700 block of Hammonds Ferry Road, showed the gun and demanded money from a clerk, police said.

The robber ran out of the bank with the money.
