Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Western District

Robbery try: Two men, one with a handgun, tried to rob a 57-year-old man in the 2300 block of W. Lafayette Ave. about 7 p.m. Sunday but fled when the victim told them he had no money.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1994 Mitsubishi Galant with tags EES 931 was stolen Sunday in the 3400 block of W. Belvedere Ave. after the owner left the keys in the ignition.

Stolen truck: A 1987 Nissan pickup truck with tags MOO3297 was stolen Sunday in the 5100 block of Cordelia Ave.

Southwestern District

Cutting: A warrant has been issued for a man suspected of cutting another man in the face with a knife Sunday in the 2800 block of W. North Ave. The victim was treated at Liberty Medical Center.

Robbery: A 20-year-old woman was in the 2100 block of Ramsay St. about 5 p.m. Sunday when a man shoved her into a wall and robbed her of $100. The woman was not injured.

Eastern District

Robbery: A man armed with an unknown weapon entered a house in the 1400 block of N. Central Ave. about 6: 25 p.m. Sunday and robbed the male occupant of a television valued at more than $100.

Robbery: A woman was counting her rent money in the 1700 block of N. Bethel St. about 6 p.m. Sunday when a gunman grabbed the money and escaped with $300.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1100 block of Homewood Ave. through a basement door Sunday and stole $300.

Southern District

Stolen car: A maroon two-door 1989 Mercedes-Benz with tags CAO 006 was stolen Sunday in the 1300 block of Cooksie St.

Stolen car: A gray 1989 Oldsmobile with tags RLS 017 was stolen Sunday in the 800 block of Hollins St.

Stolen vehicle: A white 1987 Chevrolet truck with tags 36C731 was stolen Sunday in the 1300 block of W. Pratt St.

White Marsh Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A light blue 1993 Plymouth Grand Voyager van with tags 335307M was stolen Sunday in the 6000 block of Radecke Ave.

Arson: An 18-wheel tractor-trailer was parked in the 10000 block of Jones Road about 4: 20 a.m. Sunday when someone set fire to the Peterbilt tractor, destroying its interior. An estimate of the damage was not available.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Tools valued at $1,000 were stolen from the basement of a house in the 8800 block of Avondale Road between Jan. 4 and Sunday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A television, jewelry and computer equipment were stolen Saturday from a house in the 100 block of Linden Terrace.

Burglary: A mountain bike, backpack and electronic games were stolen from an apartment in the first block of Fellowship Court between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Three .45-caliber semiautomatic handguns, all valued at more than $1,200, were stolen from a house in the 19400 block of Graves Run Road in Hampstead between Dec. 26 and Dec. 30. The burglary was reported Sunday.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed the Yorktowne Shell service station in the 10100 block of York Road of more than $100 about 9 p.m. Sunday.
