1. The Packers stonewalled the 49ers' running game, allowing 33 yards. That left it up to Steve Young to win the game, and he couldn't.

2. Brett Favre was able to make big pass plays in the first half, getting the Packers off to a 13-3 lead.

3. Despite harsh, wet conditions, the Packers did not commit a turnover, compared to two for the 49ers.
