4 classes scheduled for homebuyers
Harlem Park Revitalization will conduct a four-part Homebuyer Club meeting from 6: 30 p.m. to 8: 30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, Jan. 28, Feb. 11 and Feb. 25 at 1017 Edmondson Ave.
A community service organization that specializes in providing low-income housing, Harlem Park Revitalization was formerly known as St. Pius V Housing Committee Inc.
The first class covers bills and credit. Mortgages will be discussed during the second class. The third session looks at shopping for a home and home inspection. The final class includes settlement and tips for new homeowners.

Home-buying workshop at Good Samaritan
Harbel Housing Partnership is sponsoring a free home-buying workshop Jan. 20 from 6: 30 p.m. to 8: 30 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital, 5601 Loch Raven Blvd.
Housing affordability, credit, mortgage programs, contracts and home inspection are among the workshop topics. Information also will be provided on Baltimore County's Settlement Expense Loan Program.

Bozzuto Management Co. of Greenbelt appointed Dawn Dolan assistant controller. Dolan comes to Bozzuto from Merritt Management. A graduate of Loyola College, she is pursuing a master's of science in business administration at Johns Hopkins University.
Columbia National Mortgage Corp. said Joseph M. Scalco joined the firm as vice president for its Severna Park branch. Scalco is a member of the Anne Arundel and Prince George's Boards of Realtors and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
First Home Mortgage Corp. appointed William O. Hefferman vice president/principal of the Millersville firm. Hefferman previously served as regional manager for Entrust Home Funding. He is a member and instructor with the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and a board member of the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association.
