The Seahawks (7-6 2-1) trailed by eight with 4: 14 left in regulation, but went on a 11-2 to run to take a 60-59 lead with just over a minute left.
Gregory Harris led Mount St. Mary's (4-6, 0-1) with 22 points, and Gerben Van Dorpe blocked a season-high seven shots.
Women
Loyola, Md. 76, Loyola of Chicago 62: Jina Mosley scored 18 points and grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds to lift the host Greyhounds.
After trading leads throughout the first half, the Greyhounds (5-3) went on a 16-4 run with 18: 47 left in regulation and never relinquished the lead.
It was the first meeting in men's or women's basketball for the two schools.
