Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 16-year-old male was in the 1900 block of N. Castle St. about 2: 40 p.m. yesterday when one of two men shot him in the hip. Police said the victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and that the shooting was in retaliation for an altercation Dec. 27.

Shooting: A man was seated in a car parked in the 1200 block of N. Bond St. about 3 p.m. yesterday when a gunman fired several shots into the vehicle, hitting him once in the shoulder and once in each side. The victim was in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital last night.

Northern District

Shooting: A 17-year-old male was walking in the 2100 block of N. Calvert St. about 10: 15 p.m. Monday when a gunman approached and shot him. The victim was in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital last night.

Southwestern District

Shooting: Two men shooting at another man outside a nightclub in the 2500 block of W. Baltimore St. about 9 p.m. Monday missed their intended target but shot a 28-year-old man in the right leg. The victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital.

Stolen car: A black 1982 Buick Regal with tags PBY 859 was stolen Monday in the 1400 block of Bloomingdale Road.

Southern District

Robbery: Four men, one with a handgun, robbed a 28-year-old man of $40 in the 600 block of Bridgeview Road about 3 p.m. Monday.

Stolen car: A four-door 1990 Honda with tags EEP 686 was stolen Monday in the 1200 block of Russell St.

Western District

Carjacking: A motorist was stopped in the 1500 block of Mosher St. about 10: 30 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, ordered him out of his maroon 1998 Toyota Camry with tags ENS 602 and drove off.

Robbery: A youth with a sawed-off shotgun took $30 from a Sedan Service driver who was stopped in the 2300 block of Avalon Ave. about 5 p.m. Monday.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed robbed a woman of her purse about 5: 20 p.m. Monday outside a carryout restaurant in the 4900 block of Pimlico Road. The purse contained cash and property, all valued at more than $50.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Tools and equipment, all of unknown value, were stolen Monday from a trailer owned by D. P. Cable Co. and parked in the 10500 block of Philadelphia Road.

Burglary: Two cordless drills valued at $600 were stolen Dec. 26 from a Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. trailer parked in the 9000 block of Franklin Square Drive. The burglary was reported Monday.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Two unarmed men robbed the High's dairy store in the 10000 block of Harford Road of more than $100 about 6 p.m. Monday.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Wendy's restaurant in the 1600 block of E. Joppa Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 7: 30 p.m. Monday. He threatened to shoot several employees.

For the Record

Homicide suspect arrested: A man being held at the city Detention Center for an unrelated crime was charged in a warrant Monday with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Leonard Williams, 25, of the 6500 block of Falkirk Road. Williams' HTC body was found July 2 in a car parked in the 2000 block of Franklintown Road in Leakin Park. Held without bail is Shantron Monroe, 19, of the 4600 block of Manordene Road.
