Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Robbery: Two teen-age males were in the 3600 block of Everett St. about 9 p.m. Sunday when three gunmen robbed them of two pagers and more than $100. One of the victims was struck in the head and treated at Harbor Hospital Center.

Theft from vehicle: Luggage containing several pairs of shoes, clothing, jewelry and medication, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Saturday from a 1997 Chevrolet truck parked in the 400 block of Camden St.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man of more than $70 about 7 p.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of Eighth St. in Brooklyn.

Western District

Suspicious fire: Vagrants were suspected of setting a fire inside TC a vacant house in the 1600 block of W. Lexington St. about 4 p.m. Saturday. The fire spread to two adjoining vacant houses but no injuries were reported and no damage estimates were available.

Counterfeit money: Police were investigating a woman who tried to use counterfeit money to purchase items from Stop, Shop & Save supermarket in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. on Saturday. When the money was found to be counterfeit, the woman paid with legal money. No arrest was made.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at nearly $500 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 5300 block of Chandler Ave.

Eastern District

Burglary: Someone entered Jo's grocery store in the 800 block of N. Wolfe St. through the wall of an adjoining building Friday night or Saturday morning and stole 25 packs of cigarettes and $35 in coins.

Theft: Someone entered the emergency room at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the 600 block of N. Wolfe St. on Sunday and stole a black leather coat, valued at more than $300, that a woman left unattended on a chair.

Robbery: A man was in the 1100 block of N. Milton Ave. about 7 p.m. Sunday when a gunman forced him into an alley and robbed him of his wallet and $300.

Robbery: A man was standing at a bus stop in the 900 block of N. Washington St. about 2 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of $5.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: After placing an item on the counter at the 7-Eleven store in the 7100 block of Darlington Drive about 3: 35 a.m. Saturday, a man jumped over the counter and removed an undisclosed sum from a cash register.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Payless Shoes in the 8600 block of Liberty Road of more than $100 about 2: 30 p.m. Saturday.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed the Royal Farm store in the 4900 block of Hazelwood Ave. of cash about 7: 30 p.m. Sunday.

Homicide suspect arrested: A second man sought in the attempted robbery and fatal shooting of Clayton "Hank" Culbreth, 33, outside his hair salon in the 600 block of E. 36th St. on Saturday was arrested yesterday morning near his home in the 2200 block of Barclay St. William Bates, 21, was charged with first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and a handgun violation and held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center. Nicholas S. Beharry, 38, of the 3600 block of Greenmount Ave. was arrested Sunday.
