Man uses note to rob bank at Harundale Mall Detailed description of suspect unavailable

A man used a note to rob a bank at Harundale Mall Monday, county police said.

A man wearing a dark blue parka and gray sweat pants walked into the Crestar branch in the 7700 block of Ritchie Highway shortly before 2 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money, police said.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money, and he fled toward Value City, police said. They did not have a detailed description.
