Ellicott City: 9200 block of Baltimore National Pike: A robber entered the Subway restaurant about 4: 30 p.m. Monday, displayed a weapon in his waistband and announced a robbery. The robber obtained money and fled.
Kings Contrivance: 9600 block of Gerwig Lane: A burglar smashed a side window of Metropolitan Rolling Door and stole $2,500 in tools from three trucks Monday.
Owen Brown: 6500 block of Quiet Hours: Someone stole a Ryder rental truck Monday.
Harper's Choice: 5100 block of Evangeline Way: Two men entered a garage about 3: 51 p.m. Monday but didn't take anything.
