Texas A&M wallops UMES by 45 Shoremen's win streak is snapped in Delaware

Chris Clayton scored 23 points, including seven three-pointers, as Texas A&M routed UMES, 105-60, yesterday in a men's college basketball game at College Station, Texas.

The Retrievers (2-5) hit only 19 of 85 field-goal attempts (22 percent) and were out-rebounded, 59-49. The Aggies also stifled the Hawks with 11 blocked shots and 11 steals.

Delaware 88, Washington College 69: The visiting Shoremen (5-4) had their three-game winning streak snapped and lost to their third Division I opponent.

Blue Hens guard Keith Davis recorded the first triple-double in school history, scoring 17 points, along with 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Ben Harris led Washington College with 22 points.


Johns Hopkins 57, Scranton 40: Julie Anderson had 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Blue Jays over Scranton in the Bahamas Sunshine Shootout.
