TOWSON -- The Baltimore County Commission for Women is seeking nominations for its 16th annual Woman of the Year award, given to a county resident who has made contributions in the community, workplace or school to further the interests of women and children.

The commission is also seeking nominations for Young Woman of the Year, who must be 21 or younger, and a county government employee for Woman Employee of the Year. Information: 410-887-3448.

Hebbville school plans reunion in Feb.

RANDALLSTOWN

RANDALLSTOWN -- All students of the former Hebbville Educational Center, a public school for dyslexics from 1969 to 1979, are invited to attend a reunion from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 22 at the school, 3313 Richwood Ave. in Randallstown.

Franklin Honors Chorus to perform today at library

REISTERSTOWN

REISTERSTOWN -- A holiday concert by Franklin Middle School Honors Chorus will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Reisterstown branch of the Baltimore County public library on Cockeys Mill Road. Information: 410-887-1165.

Frank C. Williams, vice president for marketing and communications at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, has been named chief executive officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Maryland.

Williams was hired as part of a new organizational structure attributed to increasing demand for nonprofit youth services in Baltimore. He succeeds William Litsinger, who stepped down in September but remains as a consultant.

Phyllis Taylor was named unit director and Dexter Harris was named program director at the Pleasant View Gardens youth development center, in the community built at the site of the demolished Lafayette Courts public housing complex.
