County police arrested a 14-year-old Severna Park High School student Wednesday on drug and theft-related charges after he was caught smoking in a boys' restroom. Police say he was searched, and a stolen credit card and a pipe containing marijuana residue were found on him.

Police said a teacher found two boys smoking in a bathroom at Severna Park High about 11 a.m.

He sent the 14-year-old to an administrator, who searched him and found a pack of cigarettes, a pipe and a Visa card belonging to Andrew Sosnowski of Severna Park, police said.

Sosnowski told police the credit card was stolen when his car was broken into in June.

An officer tested residue in the pipe and found it was marijuana, police said.

The boy was charged as a juvenile with possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property, and was released to his father.

It was unclear what happened to the second youth.
